At the beginning of the year I made a prediction that I did not want to come true, but in the intervening months I saw one confirmation after the next that I was not off the mark. I predicted that there would be a major increase in suicides.
My prediction may have been partly intuitive and partly based on an awareness of a general decline in happiness and a compulsion for some to embrace low frequency behaviors and ideology. The combination of low karmic energy and repetitive programming of negativity could not end well, thus my prediction of suicide.
Today I was reminded of an acquaintance who killed himself last year. I thought of all that he had going for him and what he had to offer the world and it got me to thinking again of the many people who feel as if suicide is the answer to seemingly insurmountable problems.
In the past I have suffered from the darkest of depressions and I know the feelings attached to this type of pain. I also know that what we keep at the forefront of our minds will express itself in our outward reality. Our pain does not have to be there.
I understand that people have different reasons for their thoughts and our experiences are radically different, but I felt compelled to do a reading that might shed some light on why some of us are thinking the way we are and what we can do to elevate ourselves from these thoughts.
If you have any questions about the reading below, please feel free to leave a question in the comment section. If you are having suicidal thoughts, please contact someone qualified to talk with you more about it.
While I was shuffling the cards I got the impression that LOVE would be a major factor in why people harm themselves. The cards did reveal elements of love and they are strongly present, but I was surprised to be shown that the predominant factor for self-harm revolve around the superficial.
There is a feeling associated with living that could be described as ‘half empty’ and leaning toward finding what doesn’t work as opposed to what is already working.
There is a certain amount of comparisons being made in what others have and accomplished and what is desired and unfulfilled in those currently struggling with happiness.
Happiness, success and legitimacy is gauged by the amount of ‘things’ and money one has to show for themselves. There is almost a complete lack of thought behind these conclusions and emotions are being built up over things that have no shelf life or lasting significance.
There is an unwillingness to see the importance of mistakes and the work involved in reaching greater heights. Focus lingers on low energy attempts at success that lead to failure and increased focus on the successes of others which lead to feelings of unfairness.
Predominant thoughts surrounding lack permeate the reading. The feelings of perceived fairness in life and the distribution of love and money appear to be dominant.
Don’t be blinded by the glittering prizes of the mundane world that speak only of superficiality. They don’t last.
Embracing the superficial is turning your back on your authenticity, which in turn will not lead to love or happiness. It will attract inauthentic people and temporary friendships.
Difficult, sometimes painful work is necessary to succeed. Without acknowledging your mistakes as steps closer to your desires, you will always remain the Fool.
The Fool is unconcerned, not because he is an actual ‘fool’, but he moves through life willing to learn from the pitfalls he encounters. He approaches life with positivity. If he doesn’t learn valuable lessons put before him, the second time around he may actually step off the edge of the cliff–willingly or because he just never paid attention.
