Are You Missing Out on Valuable Life Lessons?

Have you noticed that so many people think they know everything there is to know about life without having had the real experience or much to base their opinions on? Yeah..it is pretty bad. They increasingly demand that others live according to what they think is right and condemn those who think outside of their horribly limited paradigms, their weakened emotions impel them to project a fascistic behavior onto others in the name of ‘fairness’, but mostly it’s just repeated words they’ve heard in institutations of conditioning and 4am talking points established within the mainstream mockingbird media. As annoying as … Continue reading Are You Missing Out on Valuable Life Lessons?

Forcing A Creative Environment

If you’ve been following along here or Instagram, you are aware of my Photos From The Matrix project. For the past six months I’ve been photographing myself in grocery stores and other places of business to assist me in elaborating on the idea of seperation from nature, immersion in the artificial and the importance we put on our digital selves. I think some of you just thought I enjoyed standing motionless in grocery stores! These self-portraits allow me to create a glitch in the system. It is how I can pop a bubble of illusion simply by blending into it … Continue reading Forcing A Creative Environment

Creative Self Expression Saved My Life

I recently retitled my blog to Saved By Self Expression because I believe that our unique creative expression is the answer to many of our perceived problems. Everything I write here is tied to our thinking, molding, influences and whether or not the ideas that we express as our own, actually are our authentic beliefs. This is linked directly to our emotions which leads to the question of, “Am I responding emotionally based on my own reasoning and experience, or am I responding to someone elses’s?” Let’s forget about all of our ‘problems’, the ‘injustices”, feelings of ‘victimhood’, etc. Notice … Continue reading Creative Self Expression Saved My Life

Intolerance is Hot Right Now

There’s a person I know, someone who I’ve admired for years–creative, passionate about life, engaging, fun, a joy.  But then I realized that nearly every moment she shares on social media has been of outrage and venomous hatred. It’s gone so far that she has even called for the death of people she does not agree with. I’ve made a point of staying away from the mind-controlling echo chamber of thee main culprit of social media conditioning, an entity whose name I won’t mention, but the ferocity and number of people who’ve been effected by the programming seeps through nonetheless. … Continue reading Intolerance is Hot Right Now

Is Halloween the Only Day for Honesty?

Today is Halloween and it occurred to me that it is the one day where people honestly present themselves as something that they are not. Take a second to grasp this.  The rest of the year, we present ourselves how we want other people to perceive us. It’s really a costume party all year long with October 31st as the day designated where we can admit we’re in costume. We style ourselves to speak for us. We dye our hair in ‘progressive’ colors so that it creates a perception. We wear red hats to let people know we are just … Continue reading Is Halloween the Only Day for Honesty?

BOOK RELEASE! Toxic Rainbows out now!

I’m very happy to announce the release of my first book, Toxic Rainbows. I have so many feelings and thoughts associated with what I’ve written that I struggle with even giving it an elevator pitch that does it justice.  It’s philosophical, psychological, spiritual, autobiographical–it’s a manual for gaining clarity in a world that is designed to distract and distort perception. As I wrote, I realized that I had been keeping mental notes my whole life on what I had been learning, observing and understanding about myself and human nature. The pain and confusion I saw around me compelled me to … Continue reading BOOK RELEASE! Toxic Rainbows out now!

Toxic Rainbows – Fall 2018 Release

Toxic Rainbows is a book I had no intention of writing, but it came out of necessity.  It wrote itself after a few years of self-reflection and contemplation of how as a society we are to function spiritually in a world where spiritual transformation plateaus with a hollow meme or a proficiency at yoga. I am a Generation X writer with the perspective of having experienced life pre- and post-internet. The remarkable experience for some of us was watching life unfold as a veil of delusion was constructed around us. We have the capacity for second sight because we can … Continue reading Toxic Rainbows – Fall 2018 Release

I AM a Child of God…Again

Feeling connected to a Higher Power is not something easy to start talking about. I’ve never been a big fan of poetry, I’ve just never had much patience for it, but when you want to start describing the feelings associated with God, it will give you a much greater appreciation for the poetic arts, because how else can you describe it? Yesterday I was excited to go to the baptism of the daughter of good friends and felt an immediate connection to the ceremony and being in the beautiful church where the ceremony took place. The officiating priest announced that … Continue reading I AM a Child of God…Again

Finding Yourself

We all want to understand our purpose and for most of us that will require a process of change and self transformation. Positive change will shake the effects of our influences and will bring about a greater understanding of our habits and motivations. Lasting change is a process that includes a strong desire, dedication, reflection and will. Your greatest first challenge is in understanding who you are. I am not talking about the labels that are imposed upon you by society. I’m talking about the inner you that only you can know. Surviving the New Babylon first means finding yourself … Continue reading Finding Yourself
