The Truth About Weakness

Seneca, the Roman Stoic philosopher, said that all savageness or cruelty is a sign of weakness. I love this concept and it has inspired me to reflect on its truth. Our weaknesses are not confirmed when we are physically dominated by someone else. True, debilitating weakness reveals itself in those who lack empathy and intelligence.  People who express empathy and intelligence threaten the feeble-minded. Intelligence inspires bullying and acts of cruelty in order for the actual weak to appear stronger than their minds would otherwise have you believe. These people oppress in order to get their way. The Truth About Gang Theory

These days hatred is expressed much more openly, loudly and without thinking than is love.  Equilibrium then becomes largely unattainable and imbalance is accepted as normal. We sometimes think that change will throw our whole life out of whack, but the opposite is closer to the truth. Positive change (and we know … Continue reading THE TRUTH ABOUT CHANGE

The True Way To Accessing Your Natural Ability and Potential

Last night before I turned out my light, I contemplated the idea of potential and natural ability. What is it that drives us? What are the things that we gravitate to that are inspired by our own desires and not of the influences forced upon us? How do we truly flourish when we feel others should come before us? Or if we take credit for something we didn’t actually do or express a thought that didn’t come from our own mind? How DO we access our true potential without giving in to pressures or taking an easy way out to … Continue reading The True Way To Accessing Your Natural Ability and Potential
