When we FREE OUR MINDS of all that enslaves us—the physical distractions, the upgrades, the shiny new things we can take selfies with—all that useless stuff that’s been put in our path to fragment and create feelings of desire and lack—when we start to do that, the mysteries of life begin to unfold. When we are no longer moved by celebrities who make no pretense of not being worthy of worship, when we deny the loudest voices who insist we move this way or that in order to join the cool kids or maintain ‘relevance’, then we can start to … Continue reading Love and How To Get It
My morning card pull from the Daniel Martin Diaz Enigma oracle deck continues with The Bell. The Bell signals a time for reaction; a time to compensate for allowing too much of a bad thing to influence our minds, bodies and spirits. The Art of War by Sun Tzu would suggest that we let our enemies or those who would hinder our cause remain under the impression that they were the ones in charge and that perhaps we are uninformed, a weaker breed that is easy to manipulate and control. But the spiritual war that rages now requires stepping into … Continue reading Preparing For the MOAB and Making It Work For You
The signs have not been few and they have not been subtle. If you have the awareness to see them, then you also know that they are gaining in momentum and intensity. The signs exist on a continuum in which one extreme overlaps another. The system encourages us to play things out on this stage as a war between factions when in reality, it is a war we wage against ourselves under the Law of Polarity. The Omen is experienced on each side of the polar spectrum and if one is not aware that each extreme cannot exist without the … Continue reading THE OMEN. Do you see the signs?
Last night I had another night filled with dreams of deception and inversion. I watched as people fabricated stories to maintain narratives that benefitted themselves. Over and over, all night long I encountered people so effortlessly working against the wills and beliefs of others, just to maintain their position or reap financial rewards. Of course, I’m dreaming of this because we see it playing out in the news every day and for three years now I’ve watched and waited for more and more people to start asking the question, ‘What is real?’, ‘What is the truth?’ and there seems to … Continue reading What Is Truth?
Solitude is the penicillin for a social disease called Social Media. Solitude is a necessary part of self improvement and personal growth. It allows us to understand that what we grasp for and envy in others is something that actually lies within us. We look so far outside of ourselves, we never realize that the answers and riches we yearn for all lie within. Sometimes you can’t help sounding new agey, but those answers are buried within us and it’s the matrix of the modern world that prevents us from experiencing and knowing this truth. I wrote a bit about … Continue reading THE TRUTH ABOUT SOLITUDE
Seneca, the Roman Stoic philosopher, said that all savageness or cruelty is a sign of weakness. I love this concept and it has inspired me to reflect on its truth. Our weaknesses are not confirmed when we are physically dominated by someone else. True, debilitating weakness reveals itself in those who lack empathy and intelligence. People who express empathy and intelligence threaten the feeble-minded. Intelligence inspires bullying and acts of cruelty in order for the actual weak to appear stronger than their minds would otherwise have you believe. These people oppress in order to get their way. If they are … Continue reading The Truth About Weakness
If I were not a gay man, I would be accused of homophobia for saying this, but pride is not defined as a summer month celebrating homosexuality. The media might have us believe that the only definition of ‘pride’ is purely associated with being gay and that after June we don’t need to think about it again until the following summer. But there is pride in being gay, just as there is pride in being straight, bisexual or asexual. Pride is a wonderful thing that, thankfully, is not bound to one gender or sexual orientation. Pride has gotten away from … Continue reading The Truth About Pride
Inversion and selfishness are at the root of all lies. Lies are not just the inversion of truth, but the inversion and destruction of reason. A lying individual may take up the practice not just to get his way, but for reasons he views as being purely practical. He may not be clever enough to get away with his fabrications for long, but there will always be more lies and excuses to justify them. A good liar not only lies to others, but to himself as well. The imagined practicality of telling lies offers the liar opportunity to proceed up … Continue reading THE TRUTH ABOUT LIES
These days hatred is expressed much more openly, loudly and without thinking than is love. Equilibrium then becomes largely unattainable and imbalance is accepted as normal. Even for those who don’t think in such terms or understand the Law of Polarity, they do feel the effects of imbalance and know that something is not right, that this psychic confusion is not normal. And that something is amiss. Imagine swimming with cement shoes and you desperately want to dive over into the deep end and enjoy the cool water there, but you can’t because you’ve committed to those shoes. You know … Continue reading The Truth About Gang Theory
I love change and have always been the one to feel excitement for anyone moving away or leaving a job, thrilled for the potential that adventurous people create in their lives. Thus, it’s no surprise that I feel some frustration when I see stagnation, lack of movement and fear of change–especially when there is complaining associated with it. One of the greatest illusions concerning change is that it is too often associated with imbalance. We sometimes think that change will throw our whole life out of whack, but the opposite is closer to the truth. Positive change (and we know … Continue reading THE TRUTH ABOUT CHANGE
