I recently retitled my blog to Saved By Self Expression because I believe that our unique creative expression is the answer to many of our perceived problems. Everything I write here is tied to our thinking, molding, influences and whether or not the ideas that we express as our own, actually are our authentic beliefs. There’s a person I know, someone who I’ve admired for years–creative, passionate about life, engaging, fun, a joy. But then I realized that nearly every moment she shares on social media has been of outrage and venomous hatred. I’m very happy to announce the release of my first book, Toxic Rainbows. I have so many feelings and thoughts associated with what I’ve written that I struggle with even giving it an elevator pitch that does it justice. I like to think that most people are genuinely caring individuals who strive for fairness and encourage love of their fellow man. Deep down, I think we all want that, but sometimes it drives us to imbalance. We start to see injustice wherever we look and choose not to see when things are actually going well for us.
